The Community Behavioral Health Center initiative within Community Healthlink is an agency-wide initiative to increase access to the full range of community behavioral health services and to improve the behavioral health and quality of life of the population of focus in Worcester and Leominster, MA through the certification of CHL as a CBHC and the expansion of our community behavioral health clinic services that align with both CBHC guidelines and the needs of our community. This position is specific to outpatient case management work with youth and families.

Since 1995, Community Healthlink has been providing quality care that promotes wellness, healing and quality of life. In 2023, CHL's clinics became certified Community Behavioral Health Centers, within a network of Massachusetts CBHC's that offer immediate, confidential care for mental health and substance use needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees evening and weekend clinical operation of the program and ensures all clinical services are in compliance with all agency policies and procedures. Interviews and recommends staff for hire. Regular meetings with supervisees.

  • This position is for weekend, and evening hours.

  • Reviewing supervisees' initial evaluations and treatment plans. Education of supervisees about relevant policies and procedures of the organization. Annual evaluation of the supervisees.

  • Provision of evaluation and treatment services to children, adolescents, and families as assigned. Provision of mental health consultation to colleagues and other professionals as assigned.

  • Taking a leadership role in the case formulation, treatment planning, and clinical consultation functions of multidisciplinary teams.

  • Documentation of all clinical work that is consistent with professional standards and submitted within time limits established by the organization. Respects diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, respect, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients, and visitors.

  • Performance of other duties as assigned that are consistent with the supervisor's role as a clinical leader and the organization's mission and values.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed in Massachusetts as a mental health professional (i.e., clinical psychologist, social worker, mental health counselor) with supervision and management experience.

  • Master's degree in a clinical course of study in behavioral health (social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling, or related field) that meet the academic requirements for independent licensure in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

  • Requires licensure as LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

  • Prior managerial experience preferred.

  • At least 2 year of counseling in a substance abuse/mental health setting.

  • Must be committed to providing quality care.
