Responsibilities:

  • Providing therapeutic interventions in the form of person-centered, individual therapy to assist the person served in actualizing their goals.

  • Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

  • Completing documentation promptly.

  • Assisting clients in learning skills/coping strategies that support recovery.

  • Familiar with evidence-based clinical practices (i.e. harm reduction, motivational interviewing, CBT, DBT, etc.).

  • Assisting individuals with activities of daily living, housing, and vocational support.

  • Liaisonwith medical providers and other community supports.

  • Respect diverse views and approaches, demonstrate Standards of Respect, and contribute to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility, and acceptance toward all employees, patients, and visitors.

Qualifications:

  • Grade C12: Clinician III: Master's degree in a clinical course of study in behavioral health (social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling, or related field) that meets the academic requirements for independent licensure in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Requires licensure as LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or is actively working towards licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

  • Grade C16: Clinician IV: Master's degree in a clinical course of study (social work, psychology, counseling, or related field) and LICSW licensure or licensed Psychologist

    Minimum of 4 years of experience working with adults with mental illness.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work cooperatively in a team environment are a must.

  • Current valid US-issued driver's license and ability to provide registered, inspected, and insured automobile for work-related purposes including transporting clients in your vehicle
