Asante Physician Partners (APP) is a group of top medical professionals working together to provide comprehensive care to patients in Southern Oregon. The Nursing Director reports directly to the SVP of Asante Physician Practices and has a dotted line to the chief nursing officers of Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center, Asante Ashland Community Hospital and Asante Three Rivers Hospital. This position is responsible for supporting and modeling a professional culture focused on quality, patient safety, employee engagement, fiscal responsibility, and patient experience and is clinically, administratively, and fiscally accountable for assigned patient care areas. The Director assures that the mission, vision, and values, of the health system are consistently implemented within his/her scope of responsibility. The Director facilitates the delivery of care by setting professional standards in an open, creative, accountable, non-threatening and supportive environment. This position works collaboratively with physicians, administrative leadership, and clinical teams on ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, staff management, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. This includes empowerment of staff, providing resources and commitment to trust and respect for all.

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing, REQUIRED
• Master's degree in Nursing or related field,PREFERRED
  

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience
• 5 years of progressive leadership experience including nursing experience related to area of specialty

Licensure/Certifications

• RN: Registered Nurse licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) is REQUIRED upon start
• BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start
• Certified Nurse Manager and Leader Certification (CNML) from the American Organization for Nursing Leadership, PREFERRED
