Title: Logistics Asset Manager I Location: Colorado Springs, CO; Alexandria, VA; Landover, MD Clearance: TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph Job Details:
- Reporting to the Logistics Manager, handle the receiving, packing, crating, coordinating, and processing receipts and shipments utilizing receipt paperwork, as well as multiple courier documentation
- Utilize the Property Management System to update records and track property throughout its life cycle, including quality control of documentation and records
- Handle the inspection, tagging, and posting of incoming property and material into the property management system
- Perform annual inventories, process excess property via a disposition program
- Examine shipment contents and compare with records, (such as manifests, BOMs, BO, Purchase Orders) to verify their accuracy regarding ICT/MCIT from various vendors
- Oversee the transportation of classified and unclassified IT equipment throughout CONUS/OCONUS locations
- Maintain the reserve of store shipping materials and supplies to maintain the inventory of stock hardware
- Interpret data on logistics elements such as availability, maintainability, reliability, supply chain management, strategic sourcing and distribution, supplier management, and transportation
- Implement new or improved supply chain processes to improve efficiency or performance within current operations
- Assist with acquisition, logistics management, equipment and spares database management, shipping and tracking, Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) compliance and managing an operational spare program
- Write technical copies of various document types, assist in preparing and maintaining operations documentation, user guides, manuals and technical publications, gather technical information and prepare written text
- Maintain a current internal documentation library, utilizing multiple MS Office tools and databases such as ServiceNow, Tableau, SharePoint
- Collaborate with internal SMEs to address issues and assist with process implementations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to the position; an additional 4 years of experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree
- Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience in addition to education level
- Experience working in a DoD or IC environment preferred
- The ability to stand for long periods of time, and lift and carry up to 50lbs, and be on call 24x7 in case of emergencies
- Must be capable of working independently in a high paced, demanding environment with minimal error rate
- Proficient in accurately entering logistics-related data into databases and excel spreadsheets
- The ability to quickly and effectively process and assimilate large volumes of data utilizing MS Excel (pivot tables, filtering, etc.)
- Prior experience working a data center environment, supporting network hardware installers desired
- Experience identifying data center network equipment and decommissioning network hardware in classified environments preferred
