CVTS Surgical Physician Assistant Opportunity!

Asante is seeking an experienced surgical Physician Assistant to join our CVTS team in Medford, Oregon. The Physician Assistant will be working with a team of 2 CVTS surgeons and 7 NPs/PAs, Practice Manager, RN, MA's and support staff, and will provide care to established cardiovascular and thoracic surgery patients within a defined scope of practice. This provider will assist in the OR with cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries. Rounding and case management care. Complete post operative patient visits in clinic and ability to take call.

Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford is a 378-bed state-of-the-art facility, Level II Trauma Center and regional referral hospital that offers a wide range of high-quality medical care to residents of Southern Oregon.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Graduation from an accredited Physician's Assistant program approved by the American Medical Association.

Experience

General surgery or vascular surgery experience helpful.

Two to three years of surgical experience in cardiovascular surgery and vein harvesting preferred.

Licensure/Certifications

o Physician Assistant certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician's Assistants along with a DEA certificate

Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) certified by American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start. Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs; Provider shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
