Zayo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, designing, and implementing Salesforce solutions to meet our business needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design scalable solutions, and deliver high-quality code. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering complex Salesforce projects and possess deep technical expertise in Salesforce development.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect, design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives and requirements.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Lead technical design sessions and provide guidance on best practices for Salesforce development.

  • Develop custom solutions using Salesforce technologies such as Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.

  • Customize and configure Salesforce platform to extend its functionality and meet specific business needs.

  • Design and implement integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and other integration tools.

  • Perform code reviews, ensure code quality, and enforce coding standards.

  • Proactively identify opportunities for optimizations and enhancing existing functionality.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce configuration and custom development.

  • Mentor and coach junior developers and provide technical guidance and support as needed.

  • Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, releases, and best practices for impact assessment and necessary system changes.

  • Deliver code to a high standard and be able to make suggestions on functional improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Salesforce.com certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Certified Administrator, or Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator.

  • Minimum of 8 (eight) years experience and expertise in Salesforce development with a focus on Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.

  • Proven experience in architecting and implementing complex Salesforce solutions for enterprise-level clients.

  • Deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, limitations, and best practices.

  • Experience with Salesforce integration technologies and patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, etc.).

  • Experience with version control tools and developing in a collaborative environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies (and SAFe) is a plus.

Base Salary Range: $95,800 - $140,000 USD/annually, commensurate with experience.
