Job Description

The Mid-Level Data Analyst is responsible for conducting in-depth data analysis to provide actionable insights for stakeholders. This role involves managing data sets, ensuring data quality, and creating detailed reports and visualizations. The Mid-Level Data Analyst collaborates closely with the OCM team and stakeholders to understand their objectives and to drive data-informed decision-making processes within the organization.

Responsibilities

    Help design and implement repeatable data pipelines to automate the transfer of stakeholder information into the Stakeholder Management Tool
  • Ensure that data pipelines are robust and adaptable to evolving stakeholder management requirements and stakeholder needs
  • Serve as the administrator for the Stakeholder Management Tool, responsible for setting up new user accounts, disabling accounts, and configuring access permissions
  • Customize views and dashboards within the tool to reflect stakeholder information, ensuring they meet the program's requirements for assessments, engagements, and training
  • Implement minor configuration changes to the tool as needed to maintain its functionality and usability
  • Assist in the initial setup of the Stakeholder Management Tool and provide ongoing support
  • Conduct data analysis and generate reports, dashboards, and data files based on stakeholder information to assist in tracking stakeholder engagement, adoption, and feedback
  • Use data visualization and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) along with scripting languages such as Python, R, or SQL to transform data into meaningful insights for stakeholders based on Government requirements
  • Monitor the quality and accuracy of stakeholder data within the tool, troubleshoot any database issues, and resolve discrepancies to ensure data integrity
  • Perform regular audits of data pipelines and stakeholder information to maintain currency of data
  • Administer post-implementation surveys and analyze the collected data to measure the impact of the changes and generate feedback reports
  • Maintain and ensure the accessibility of stakeholder data for Government representatives
  • Modify and update data elements in collaboration with the Government, pending approval
  • Provide access and training on the Stakeholder Tool in the event of personnel changes


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in data analysis or related fields
  • Strong understanding of data analysis methods, statistical modeling, and data visualization
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau)
  • Advanced data analysis, reporting, and visualization skills
  • ServiceNow experience required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly
  • Eligible for or possesses active/interim Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skill in taking initiative, showing sound judgment, and making the decision
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in configuration, customization, APIs, ACLs, and advanced scripting
  • Candidates with ServiceNow System Administrator, Application Developer, and Implementation Specialist certifications such as the following are prioritized: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, ServiceNow ITOM-related Foundations training
  • Agile/Scrum related certifications
  • ITIL v3 or v4 Certification
