Join us in improving lives during pivotal care moments! Summary: Bamboo Health is seeking an experienced sales executive to drive growth within enterprise health systems in key markets. As a Market Development Director, you will be responsible for expanding relationships with our largest and most influential health system customers, acquiring new health system clients, and cross-selling within existing accounts to maximize adoption of Bamboo Health's Care Coordination solutions. You will also be responsible for retaining and growing existing Bamboo Health Health System customers. This role requires building strong relationships with top executives at leading health systems, understanding their challenges, and identifying opportunities for expansion. You will independently own a territory, leading sales and retention efforts to meet aggressive growth targets. What You'll Do:
- Meet and exceed sales targets by driving both new and existing customer growth within health systems
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Retain and expand relationships with existing care coordination customers
- Implement creative and effective prospecting strategies to secure meetings
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline that leads to executed contracts
- Engage executives and key stakeholders to develop and advance sales opportunities
- Lead contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with the prospect's budgeting process and timelines
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and communicate key risks and opportunities to leadership
- Maintain accurate records in SFDC CRM to track deals and opportunity progression
- Lead commercial growth and develop strategic and tactical sales plans to drive revenue within the assigned territory
- Develop and execute prospect strategies by understanding each organization's strategic priorities, business objectives, challenges, and capabilities
- Conduct effective outreach and sales campaigns, collaborating with Customer Success as needed
- Provide feedback to improve processes and position both yourself and the business for long-term success
- Continuously develop new skills while mentoring and sharing insights with team members
What Success Looks Like... In 3 months:
- Develop a strong understanding of your territory and create a clear plan to achieve quota efficiently
- Gain deep expertise in Bamboo Health's solutions and the problems they solve
- Independently present Bamboo Health solutions and facilitate prospect/customer meetings with leadership support
- Secure meetings with key buyers and build a strong, sellable pipeline
In 6 months:
- Build a strong, sellable pipeline that is on track to meet quota goals
- Start delivering revenue and take full ownership of customer meetings
- Execute against quarterly forecasts and targets
- Develop and implement execution plans to position yourself for long-term success
In 12 months:
- Independently build, strengthen, and manage a sellable pipeline that meets or exceeds quota
- Consistently deliver accurate quarterly forecasts
- Contribute to business initiatives beyond sales that align with your professional development goals
- Establish yourself as a thought leader for enterprise accounts and play a key role in the strategic growth of the enterprise sales team
What You Need:
- 7+ years of experience selling enterprise software technology solutions to health systems (both net new logo and expanding existing accounts)
- Experience selling in value-based care, care management, care coordination, and population health
- Knowledge of value-based care payment models and financial structures
- Experience selling both technology and service-driven solutions to health systems
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and demonstrating year-over-year growth
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate and build productive relationships
- Strong analytical skills, creativity, and problem-solving ability to develop innovative solutions
- Experience working in fast-paced, rapidly evolving environments
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual setting, including access to a quiet workspace with minimal distractions and a reliable internet connection
- Willingness to travel frequently (approximately 50%) for work
