What you will do:

Current college students of all levels will work as part of a larger team to provide hands-on support and design/development for various real-world aspects of our business. This could include work on Sales and Marketing, Business Development, Onsite, and Brand Management Teams!In addition to working alongside full-time employees carrying out various functions for NorthStar Clean Energy, Business Interns will have the option to participate in several additional optional events within the program. This includes networking events, company tours, professional development workshops, cross-functional speaker sessions, and an executive speaker series.

Business Intern assignments may include opportunities in:



  • Data management
  • Supporting the Retail Open Access enrollment, tracking, and report building
  • Business Planning, project development, financial analysis, and project economics
  • Supporting Solar Energy project transactions and technical due diligence
  • Assisting with marketing events including trade shows, conferences, and networking sessions
  • Utilizing internal software for internal brand management

IMPORTANT NOTE:This posting does not represent a specific position and is posted for the purpose of collecting resumes for students interested in a Business internship opportunity with NorthStar Clean Energy. We encourage you to apply if you possess the following:

Actively enrolled and pursuing an ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Marketing. The following MUST betrue to be eligible for an Intern role.



  • Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0 or higher.
  • Candidates for positions with NorthStar Clean Energy must be legally authorized to permanently work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to new assignments and projects
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Attitude and aptitude to learn new skills and concepts
  • Ability and willingness to work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks
  • Prior work and/or internship experience
  • Hands-on experience with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)



This role may require reporting to an assigned headquarter. Leaders will discussthe work arrangements which best fit the nature of the work along with overall business needs.
