Milton Hershey School
United States, Pennsylvania, Hershey
Nov 07, 2024
Description

Would you love to teach at Milton Hershey School (MHS), one of the world's best pre-K through 12th grade private schools, where students from disadvantaged backgrounds receive a cost-free home and a top-notch education? Thanks to the generosity of Milton and Catherine Hershey back in 1909, the school is fully endowed and is growing to serve more students! As a result of this growth, we anticipate future hiring and are accepting applications from educators. If working on a beautiful campus that includes state-of-the-art classroom technology, free school supplies, common planning periods, and a dedicated team of professionals committed to ensuring students success, consider MHS! Small class sizes-typically between 11 to 14 students-allow MHS teachers to focus on personal instruction that changes the lives of their students.

MHS teachers plan, prepare, and deliver lessons with rigor and relevance. They create and analyze data-driven formative and summative assessments to differentiate instruction, inform programming, and accommodate individual students and whole group needs. They also support critical initiatives such as wellness and social and emotional skills; and ensure a whole child approach is taken to student development.

This position requires a commitment to remediating students beyond regular classroom hours and a requirement to schedule and complete an additional duty to teaching schedules. MHS offers highly competitive pay, excellent benefits, and free lunches for staff.
