Responsibilities for Field Quality Control Inspector Addresses daily quality concerns and questions Troubleshoots manufacturing problems and quality issues Work closely with operation teams to ensure process controls are in place and adequate to meet standard requirements Ensure that any non-conforming product is properly identified, quarantined and communicated Examines material or product for surface defects such as cracks, pits, and incomplete welds Verifies specified dimensions of product or material Conduct incoming material inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection to procedures, specifications, drawings, samples, or illustrations Review Changes according to specifications Inspect the work each day for compliance with the plans and specifications and all other applicable contract documents such as RFIs, Deviation Waivers, etc. Document all quality control activities Supervise and coordinate the inspections and tests made by subcontractors and other members of the Quality Control Team Ensure that all tests required, or necessary, are performed and that the results of such tests shall be reported Take prompt action to identify and correct all quality deficiencies. Maintain a Non-Conformance log including responsible party and critical resolution date(s) Compile data packages for turn over to customer for construction closeout periodically when individual systems are complete Qualifications for Field Quality Control Inspector A high school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of production experience, specifically in the areas of quality assurance or production control experience, construction An associate's degree or equivalent is a benefit any quality related training or certification Experience with maintaining accurate records experience with accurate measurement capability A strong knowledge of computer skills with a focus on the Microsoft Office package Knowledge and work history of focusing on quality and safety in every aspect of the job Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or above is desired Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Health, Dental & Vision insurance IRA with up to 3% match to total salary Pay Frequency: Weekly
