What You'll Do:

As the Manager of Oncology Operations, you will:



  • Lead and Inspire: Provide leadership to the Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology departments to ensure the highest quality of care is delivered to every patient, every day.
  • Performance Excellence: Develop and implement performance improvement initiatives to optimize clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Strategic Planning: Work closely with senior leadership to set department goals, manage budgets, and execute strategic initiatives to enhance the oncology service line.
  • Financial Stewardship: Provide fiscal oversight of resources, assets, and expenses, ensuring budgetary goals are met while managing fluctuations in volume and external factors.
  • Human Resources Leadership: Hire, train, mentor, and develop your team. Identify future leaders and create a work environment that supports retention and professional growth.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with JCAHO Standards, HCFA, State Standards, and hospital-specific safety and quality goals.
  • Collaboration: Actively participate in leadership meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement solutions for department-level challenges.
  • Innovation & Improvement: Champion process improvements, infrastructure changes, and quality initiatives to continually elevate the oncology care provided.



What We're Looking For:

We're seeking a visionary leader with:



  • A Bachelor's Degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field.
  • Experience as an RN is preferred.
  • Experiencein Oncology is required.
  • 4+ years of experience in healthcare leadership, with a strong focus on operational and clinical management in an oncology setting.
  • Proven experience in budget management, strategic planning, and staff development.
  • Exceptional skills in communication, team-building, and performance management.
  • A thorough understanding of regulatory standards related to oncology services, including JCAHO and HCFA.
