The Staff Nurse will provide professional nursing care to assigned patients. Assesses patients, develop, and documents nursing care and discharge plans, and prepares and administers medications and interventions. Supervises nursing attendants and ancillary staff in patient care activities. Responsibilities include, but not limited to the care of the patient in the Cardiac Cath/EP/Arrythmia Lab. Assesses, prepares, monitors, and treats patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. QUALIFICATION * New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an R.N. * BSN Degree preferred. * Critical care experience required. * High-level telemetry experience required. * Cath lab experience preferred. * CCRN preferred. * BLS and ACLS are required. * Infection Control Training * Effective English communication skills, both written and oral. * Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval systems.
