Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with system integrator, IT, and business stakeholders to replace legacy mainframe systems with an EAM (IBM Maximo).
  • Contribute to solution architecture design. Participate in EAM (IBM Maximo) software installations and upgrade work.
  • Configure EAM (IBM Maximo) and develop interfaces to external systems.
  • Provide technical services throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Develop and document detailed technical designs to meet business requirements.
  • Manage multiple technical environments and support development and testing processes.
  • Lead or assist in data conversion and migration efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure that system processes are in line with business goals and priorities.
  • Identify areas for optimization, providing solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Conduct system testing, as necessary. Collaborate with Testing Center of Excellence tower leads to streamline and standardize quality assurance testing.

Qualifications

Required Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering and a minimum of (3) years of IT experience or
  • Associate's Degree Preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering and a minimum of (5) years of IT experience or
  • High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of (7) years of IT experience
Relevant Work Experience
  • Minimum five (5) years of work experience in a technical position with the implementation and utilization of fully integrated enterprise asset management system (EAM). IBM Maximo experience is a plus.
  • Experience and knowledge implementing an EAM at a gas and/or electric utility company is a plus.
  • Experience with data import and migration processes (e.g., transferring data from legacy systems such as mainframe to an EAM while ensuring data integrity and accuracy.)
  • Possess advanced knowledge of web services, RESTful APIs, Java, JavaScript, XML, and SQL.
  • Experience in Mobile development is a plus.
  • Experience in Agile methodology and tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) is a plus.
  • Demonstrate hands-on experience integrating multiple, disparate systems with an EAM.
  • Understand business process management using workflow design and management.
  • Ability to convert functional requirements into technical specifications, configure, tailor, and customize solutions, including building interfaces.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure and application development concepts.
  • Possesses the skill to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-changing business setting, with the ability to change priorities and efforts as needs and goals change.

Additional Physical Demands
  • Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as a hard hat, gloves, and safety shoes when required
