Loadout Coordinator - 1st Shift

General Purpose

Expedite cooler and load out activities to ensure finished product is loaded correctly and meets customer order and delivery requirements. Receive incoming finished goods and make inventory adjustments in appropriate system(s).

Job Duties and ResponsibilitIes



  • Coordinate load out activity ensuring that customer orders are loaded in sequence to meet customer order requirements
  • Print and assemble picking slips in loading sequence for cooler or warehouse employees; prepare ship/confirm and process picking documents. May select and assign customer or branch orders by truck or route
  • Provide delivery drivers and employees necessary loading procedures and load diagrams to ensure accurate loading of finished products
  • Enter and/or change internal or external orders into the appropriate system so all product sales leaving the cooler or warehouse is on a computerized load out ticket
  • Coordinate with distribution to resolve customer complaints, special deliveries, and/or order adjustments
  • May assist leads in directing spotters or yard employees to move trucks or trailers to expedite unload and load processes to meet delivery schedules
  • May receive all in-coming finished goods. May load items into the system to ensure timely and accurate inventory counts in order to minimize shortages and out of stocks. May enter all inventory adjustments (dumps, out-of-code product, reprocess milk, etc.) in order to confirm inventory is reflected properly
  • May perform system file maintenance such as new product setup, sequencing, and obsoleting discontinued product

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Knowledge of and skill with Microsoft Office Suite and company computer systems
  • Able to respond courteously and efficiently to inquiries, complaints, and requests
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Able to work with accuracy and detail oriented
  • Able to follow directions and meet deadlines
  • Able to problem solve, multi-task and prioritize own work activities
  • Able to perform tasks and duties without constant supervision
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English

Education and Experience



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 2 years warehouse, transportation, dispatch, or related experience
