As one of the oldest medical schools in the country, the UC College of Medicine has a reputation for training best-in-class health care professionals and developing cutting-edge procedures and research that improves the health and clinical care of patients. The Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery started at UC in 1974, and we have been on the forefront of Plastic, Reconstructive, Hand and Burn Surgical conditions. Research has grown in the field of plastic surgery, particularly in nerve regeneration and tissue engineering, in addition to clinical research. As a research professional, you would be a part of our team providing limb function preserving care while offering cutting-edge, novel therapies to our patients with injuries to the upper limb including nerve injuries as well as other upper extremity conditions. The Department of Urology was established as a department in 2024 having been a Division for many decades. Research has grown in the field of Urology, particularly in minimally invasive surgical approach and modern imaging, in addition to clinical research. As a research professional, you would be a part of our team providing cutting edge surgical approaches for the major urological malignancies, novel therapies and clinical trials. Clinical trials include gene therapy trials for urological cancers and trials on novel medications and/or perioperative strategies. This position would provide technical support and assistance in Plastic, Reconstructive, Hand and Burn and Urology Clinical Research. Duties can span a broad range of activities or be primarily focused within one or more areas of the clinical research spectrum. The successful applicant will be provided with a competitive salary and benefits, and the final faculty rank/title will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications. Essential Functions
