Overview

Within Global Procurement, Sourcing & Buying Operations (SBO) is part of Deutsche Bank's Procurement & Travel Operations (PTO) organization. We support the end-to-end Procurement process, and are directly responsible for defining and implementing the commercial structure for a large range of services delivered to the Bank. This includes the following: charging model, financial process lifecycle, consumption and cost management, internal cost allocation, and tailored financial reporting. You will be implementing policy framework for consumption driven services while delivering sustainable cost savings achieved via invoice dispute process.

What You'll Do

  • Support the end-to-end Procurement lifecycle of individual supplier(s) and/or contract(s), including: raising purchase requisitions, reviewing consumption data, assisting in dispute management process, validating and approving invoices, and reporting on related costs

  • Maintain and update purchase orders and invoice tracking spreadsheets

  • Act as primary contact for a book of accounts ensuring that inquiries and escalations are addressed in a timely manner

  • Deliver year-over-year net cost reductions and cost avoidance through consumption management process (invoice validations)

  • Support upcoming projects and on-demand tasks, including departmental savings initiatives, audits or data requests

  • Assist in on-boarding new services/contracts following the commercial transition process

Skills You'll Need

  • Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Excel including expertise in pivot tables, shortcuts, formulas, and lookups

  • Solid communications skills, will work to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office standard applications including SharePoint, database knowledge, and ability to monitor, track and clearly communicate progress, escalating issues when appropriate

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Understanding of procurement processes with experience in Procurement system (SAP/ Ariba a plus)

  • Strategic, proactive and assertive, willing to challenge the status-quo (natural curiosity)

  • Work in global teams across different time zones and within a matrix environment, Cross-functional experience desired

  • Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous priorities and ongoing issues, Ability to work independently with minimal oversight, as well as in a team setting

  • Degree from an accredited college or university (equivalent Diploma or work experience)

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville, FL office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville, FL is $48,000 to $68,800. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
