The Commercial Banking Intern position is a temporary, full-time summer opportunity that will provide high level overview of the Commercial Banking functions at SouthState Bank.

The Commercial Banking Intern program is designed to provide career considerations to college students who have an interest in commercial banking and have demonstrated academic success.

You will spend ten weeks learning about Commercial Lending, Credit Analysis, Commercial Credit Underwriting, and Treasury Management. The Commercial Banking Intern will have an exclusive opportunity to present a Capstone project to The Bank's leadership team at the end of the program.

Education and Skill Set Requested:

  • Currently enrolled in continued education post high school, with a Major in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or other related majors.
  • Proficiency in Accounting principles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Requires proficient knowledge of computer software programs such as Microsoft Office, Excel, and other programs used in department
  • Computer Literate
