This position is PRN 1-3 days a week.

Primary Duties:

• Conductsassessments for patients toestablishdiet and food guidelines.

• Develop and implement an individualized plan for medical nutrition therapyin accordance withpatientsmedical needs,goalsandobjectives.

• Assigned Critical Care Units and General Medicine Floors. Work closely withFoodService team to assure conformance to diet prescriptions.

• Assumes other duties and responsibilities that are appropriate to the position and area.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree M.S. degree in food and nutrition with approved training from the Academy of Nutrition Dieteticsrequired if completed after January 1, 2024.

• 5-7 years Progressive clinical nutrition experiencerequiredOR3-4 years Clinical nutrition experiencealong withCDCES - Certified Diabetes Educator CertificationorCNSC - Certified Nutrition Support Dietitian/Clinicianrequired.
• Licensed in District of Columbiarequired or eligible to apply for DC licensurerequired.

This position has a hiring range of $72,758 - $130,041
