Kidlink Treatment Services' network of programs includes more than 50 specialized educational and residential behavioral treatment centers. Each center provides programming for children and adolescents who may have been unsuccessful in previous treatment settings.

Kidlink Treatment Services (a UHS company) is seeking a talented and dynamic Sales Manager to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals to represent and promote the product line and act as point of contact for referrals with key accounts.

Position Summary:

The Sales Manager (KidLink - TN) is responsible for achieving the desired utilization of the organization's continuum of care through sales and marketing principles. Working on behalf of the UHS hospitals, the Sales Manager is accountable to understanding budgeted referral calls for each facility and the market overall and for generating the required budgeted referral calls. This will be achieved through development of sales team members and rigorous attention to team member productivity.

The Sales Manager is actively involved in discussions related to a wide variety of issues including, but not limited to, potential sales growth opportunities, future projects. This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategies for targeted customer channels and maintaining strong relationships with key customers working collaboratively with the sales team.

The Sales Manager will design, create, and deliver marketing programs to support expansion and growth of company services, products, and brand. The Sales Manager develops and manages a variety of digital assets, marketing campaigns, digital touch points and owns maintenance of analytics, metrics, and campaign reporting.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Strategically analyzes and designates target markets for Sales team member and territory account assignments, considering the strengths and weaknesses of each Sales team member. Ensures that expertise and personal styles of team members are insightfully matched to prospective referral sources.
  • Monitors the performance of each Sales team member against departmental goals. Assists the team in developing individual sales plans, territory management and routing schedules. Accompanies each Sales team member on a minimum of a monthly basis, or more often as needs arise, to assess selling techniques, document outcomes, provide constructive feedback, retrain, and redirect, as needed.
  • Arranges ongoing in-service education and training in coordination with Regional Director of Business Development in the areas of Sales Excellence, messaging, account management, messaging, service recovery, customer service, computer systems, time management and business development strategy. Regularly analyzes results of referral development calls, evaluates and prioritizes referral targets and, modifies strategies as needed.
  • Develops, implements, and monitors the strategic plan in conjunction with the Regional Director of Business Development and updates periodically to evaluate goals to plan. Assists in development of sales department monthly operating report, inclusive of all required components; utilizes report to monitor success of efforts and to develop and implement corrective action plans, when necessary. Consistently submits accurate, comprehensive reports to Regional Director of Business Development in a timely manner.
  • Develops short and long-term market forecasts and reports by directing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data. Leads and oversees the development and growth of profitable new business opportunities. Develops and implements marketing strategies to assist in meeting business objectives.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree related field required. Masters preferred
  • 8-10 years of account management experience, other managed markets experience, or other related experience required.
  • Exceptional creativity and resourcefulness in developing messaging, news releases, print and collateral material
  • Solid understanding of key public and private payer policy infrastructure, payment methodologies, coverage, health policy trends, and current business challenges.
  • Advanced understanding of factors affecting sales results and effectively incorporates these into strategic plans.
  • Highly developed analytical skills with demonstrated ability to conceptualize issues and synthesize data to provide strategic direction.
  • solid understanding of key public and private payer policy infrastructure, payment methodologies, coverage, health policy trends, and current business challenges.
  • Stong Written and Verbal Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

License or Registration Requirements:

Valid Driver's License

*Travel Requirements:

1 to 2 nights per month overnight travel on average within the state of Tennessee

Travel Expenses:

Must have a personal credit card to purchase travel and miscellaneous expenses incurred while performing assigned duties. Accurately completes expense reports in a timely manner for reimbursement to be approved by Supervisor and Finance.
