Manager, Mobile Crisis Services - $6,000 Retention Bonus

This position is eligible for a $6,000 retention bonus ($2,500 paid after 6 months of service with the remainder paid after 12 months of service)

Salary

This area has been designated as a recruitment desert. Employees who primarily work in a recruitment desert will receive a 15% differential pay in addition to their base salary (which is already included in the salary range below).

Base Salary: $85,021.58 - $93,523.74/annually

Base salary + Recruitment Desert differential: $92,886.08 - $107,552.30/annually

The expected compensation range for this position represents a good faith estimate for this position and the specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, experience, and/or FTE.

Canvas Health's mental health and substance use disorder providers, clinicians, and staff bring their diverse lived experience to help inform and guide the care they provide to clients. Our integrated programs and services offer coordinated care to people of all ages in their homes, the community, and in our clinics. We strive for excellence in clinical care as we serve those living with mental illness, substance use disorders, crisis, unstable housing, and trauma. Canvas Health is a non-profit, Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) specializing in serving clients who are on Medicaid.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the Canvas Health County Mobile Crisis Services system including 24/7 Mobile Crisis Response including the mental health backup on-call system for evenings and weekends. This position is responsible for working with division directors to establish program priorities, policies, and procedures. The position provides clinical supervision to Embedded Co-responders, Oversight of Canvas Health Mobile Crisis programs, and coordination with law enforcement in area that Canvas Health serves.

Scott County, Anoka County, and North Branch, MN

Minimum Qualifications



  • Licensed mental health professional (e.g., Psychologist, Independent Clinical Social Worker, and Marriage/Family Therapist) with an emphasis on clinical practice
  • Minnesota State license required and eligibility for approval for insurance providers
  • Ability to provide Mental Health Supervision for at least one Mental Health Board.
  • 5 years clinical experience in community-based counseling
  • Experience in clinical supervision/program development


Preferred Qualifications



  • Extensive Cultural trainings
  • Training in short-term therapeutic models
  • Experience in delivering crisis services with in-home experience
  • Experience working with and/or delivering services to diverse populations
  • Awareness of county resources
  • Experience working with County grants
