This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any shift schedules during our normal business hours of 9:00 am - 5:30 pm. Our office is located at 3 FARM GLEN Blvd Farmington, CT . Employees are required to work somedays days onsite and somedays days from home.

We offer 3 weeks of paid training. Training will be conducted onsite.

If you are within commutable distance to the office at 3 FARM GLEN Blvd Farmington, CT, you will have the flexibility to work from home and the office in this hybrid role* as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Support all aspects of payor quality programs including those administered by The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Medicare Advantage (MA) and commercial payors;
  • Leads day-to-day activities for payor quality programs including chart review, abstraction, and submission
  • Review and update patient charts with historical data, as required
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on CMS and HEDIS quality measure specifications; Demonstrate a commitment to continual learning
  • Support special projects to promote enhanced patient experience and quality outcomes
  • Participate in data validation for EHR reports as required
  • Attend and participate in quality team meetings and educational sessions
  • Foster innovative problem solving and uphold principles of continuous quality improvement
  • Assist in the resolution of issues and elimination of roadblocks to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 2+ years experience as a medical assistant
  • Experience with working with CMS and HEDIS quality measures
  • Experience with working in a primary care setting
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
  • Ability to work between the hours of 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM from Monday - Friday



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience in clinical OR community health settings
  • Experience in customer service OR a related field
  • Experience with data entry and analysis
  • Experience with Epic



Telecommuting Requirements:



  • Reside within commutable distance to the office at 3 FARM GLEN Blvd Farmington, CT
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Connecticut Residents Only: The hourly range for this is $19.47 - $38.08 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited tolocal labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
