Position Summary: As a member of an unarmed security team, the Lead Security Officer provides daily oversight and operational management on a day-to-day basis, assisting the department manager with administrative and operational tasks as assigned. Key Responsibilities: Submission of attendance data on a daily/weekly basis Daily oversight and mentoring of staff Daily communication and collaboration with Security Manager & valet staff Attend meetings to represent security interests and matters as assigned, Prepare monthly reports as instructed maintain statistical data, Manage access control and camera surveillance systems, Assist Security Manager with administrative duties including, but not limited to, parking permits, ID badges and maintains all applications and databases, Assist vendors with repairs, upgrades and improvements. Required Knowledge & Skills: Education: HS diploma or GED required; Criminal Justice degree or law enforcement training or education preferred. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the security industry, preferably in a healthcare setting. Must have a current driver's license. Fluency in a second language a plus. Certification/Licensure: LTC preferred, IAHSS Officer certification preferred and obtained within 1 year of hire Software/Hardware: Microsoft Office preferred, digital media preferred, Report Exec preferred Equal Opportunity Employer/Disabled/Veterans
