The Optum Consumer Office focuses on delivering exceptional digital experiences and building capabilities that enhance consumer satisfaction, engagement and loyalty across various digital touchpoints. Our team is dedicated to leveraging technology, data and design to create seamless, intuitive and accessible experiences that meet consumer needs and preferences. As a Senior digital product manager, you will be at the forefront of driving the development and enhancement of our digital products and experiences on the Optum.com platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define product strategy, prioritize features, and ensure successful execution of our digital roadmap. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our digital product portfolio, shaping the future of our offerings and driving business growth through innovative product strategies.


If you are located in Eden Prairie, MN, you will have the flexibility to work remotely*, as well as work in the office as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Product Strategy: Define and communicate the strategic vision for our digital product portfolio, aligning it with business goals and customer needs
  • Roadmap Planning: Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market research, and business objectives
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with design, engineering, marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of product initiatives
  • Requirement Gathering: Work with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs
  • Product Development: Oversee the end-to-end product development process, from concept ideation and design to development, testing, and launch
  • Performance Monitoring: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of our digital products, iterating based on data-driven insights
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product differentiation

Required Qualifications:



  • 5+ years of experience in digital product management
  • Experience with UX/UI best practices, SEO, web analytics, and digital marketing principles
  • Experience providing product guidance on web and mobile design trends and responsive web development
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs
  • Solid career experience in strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies
  • Deep experience working in an Agile environment and knowledge of product management best practices
  • Proven track record of successfully leading consumer-facing web and mobile product development and delivering digital products or services that meet customer needs and business objectives
  • Proven solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization



Preferred Qualification:



  • Extensive professional experience in a similar role within eCommerce or B2B space

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Washington, Washington, D.C. Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $88,000 to $173,200 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
