Chemical Receiving/ Stockroom Assistant RRP Admin Full Time 81914BR Job Summary Under the supervision of the ChemCentral Team Lead or Supervisor, the Junior Chemical Management Specialist will work as part of a team to maintain a comprehensive chemical management program across multiple UCSF campuses. Duties include receiving and unpackaging chemicals; adding chemicals to inventories using handheld scanners; barcoding chemical containers and entering information such as chemical name, physical state, & container types into the inventory system using a mobile app; delivering chemicals to laboratories; providing technical support and ad hoc training to end users of the purchsing system; and conducting routine reconcillation of both stockroom and laboratory chemical inventories, The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $55,700 - $118,500 (Annual Rate).
