Drivers Onsite Manager

Job Summary

We are currently hiring an Onsite Manager, Drivers Schiller Park team, and our ideal candidate will possess a passion for impacting lives and our community. The primary purpose of this position is to work primarily at a customer's location and to be responsible for all staffing related functions required. The onsite account may perform recruiting functions at the customer site or rely on support from a dedicated team working in a branch. This role may also be responsible for leading and managing a team directly.

Essential Duties

Your Day-to-Day Leadership includes Activities such as these:

  • Build and maintain good relationships at all levels of the customer's organization and deliver exceptional service by ensuring by handling all customer service inquiries, concerns, issues, and ensuring consistent quality.
  • Works with the customer's team to coordinate and forecast staffing requirements.
  • Development and execution of effective recruiting strategies that deliver the applicant flow and hiring results to meet and exceed fill rate and on-time fill rate goals.
  • Facilitate new hire orientations and pre-training with temporary staffing employees for proper transition to assignment.
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on key performance indicators and uses the information to communicate with the customer and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure accurate and timely information about the account and assigned temporary employees are entered into the operating system. Maintain customer information relative to specific on-site account in the system.
  • Participate in the customer's safety program and verify that employees follow safety policies and any PPE requirements. Accident review, investigations, and report of injury with Staffmark Drivers and customer safety department as needed.
  • Complete and facilitate partnership review meetings with the customer and Staffmark Drivers team on a quarterly basis ensuring quality and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all drivers meet Staffmark Drivers and customer license and MVR requirements.

Competencies

Excellent written and oral communication skills, be customer-service oriented, proven, strong organizational skills. An ability to effectively prioritize in a multi-task environment and work under pressure. The ability to motivate, coach and constructively critique front-line administrative level employees and supervisory employees. Intermediate skills in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word and Excel). Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business, or a related field; or at least 5 years of equivalent experience, 3-5 years of previous work within a staffing company or in customer service and 2 years or more experience supervising 150 employees or more in a metric driven environment.
