Minimum Job Requirements
- Perform extensive preventative maintenance as directed or as scheduled.
- Perform minor and major repair of all buildings and equipment.
- Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists on building and equipment maintenance procedures and maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures per Quality procedures. Including scheduled inspections, maintenance and replacement of belts, fluids, filters, bearings, seals, etc.; repair or replace broken parts.
- Work safely on scissors lift to a height of 20 feet.
- Thread metal piping 1/8" to 2" diameter with power hand threader.
- Run/repair sch. 80 PVC and CPVC piping 1/8" to 4".
- Weld/light fabricate with Wire Feed welder.
- Install electrical wiring and equipment, new electrical service, replace and repair wiring as needed.
- Repair electrical equipment and control circuits; replace faulty electrical switches; repair refrigeration equipment.
- May assist with the implementation of fire and safety procedures, conduct fire drills, verify that smoke detectors and fire extinguishers are operational.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.
- Arrive to work in a punctual manner and be willing to work overtime as needed.
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- General knowledge to perform routine, extensive and preventative maintenance on buildings, mechanical equipment and utility systems.
- Must be able understand and comprehend electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams and schematics. Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of mechanical and electrical equipment, along with good research skills for appropriate solutions.
- Experience with Cincinnati and Amada press brake and punch press as well as Mazak machining equipment is a plus.
- Ability to Tig Weld(Required)
Education and Experience
- 2-year technical school or associates degree with 2-5 years experience in similar function is preferred. May consider candidates with considerable related experience.
