Full-Time / Non-Exempt

Location: Glen Burnie, MD

Reports To: Human Resources Director

General Summary: You'll be the first point of contact at our front desk, providing exceptional customer service to employees and visitors. You'll support the HR Director and HR/Safety Manager with administrative tasks, assist in organizing HR events, and help keep the HR and Safety departments running smoothly. This on-site role requires reliability, a professional attitude, and a commitment to confidentiality.

Job Duties:



  • Act as a key point of customer service by managing the front desk and greeting visitors warmly.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls, ensuring smooth communication within the company.
  • Maintain confidentiality with sensitive information and handle it appropriately.
  • Perform general filing and organization to keep the HR and Safety departments organized.
  • Support HR and Safety administrative tasks and assist in event planning.
  • Ensure deadlines set by the HR Director and HR/Safety Manager are met.
  • Serve as a backup for HR Administrators, Assistants, mailroom, and reception as needed.
  • Assist with special HR projects, including annual open enrollment, holiday parties, and mass mailings.
