PURPOSE

As part of the Digital Visual Merchandising team, you will support driving the execution, development, and refinement of our Campaign Merchandising strategy ensuring key campaigns, consumer moments, and promotions come to life seamlessly across adidas.com and the app. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels to translate global direction into high-quality local execution grounded in consistency, clarity, and consumer-first thinking.

You will help evolve our merchandising tools, processes, and ways of working to enhance operational efficiency and improve how we present products across the consumer journey. Leveraging your understanding of digital merchandising and consumer behavior, you will optimize content, linking, and product presentation to drive engagement, conversion, and sell-through.

As a Manager, you will lead through collaboration and influence, ensuring that day-to-day campaign execution upholds our merchandising standards, supports business priorities, and strengthens cross-functional alignment. Our goal is to craft a seamless, intuitive, and engaging online experience that guides consumers effortlessly to the products they want, enhancing both satisfaction and conversion.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, execute, and refine the digital visual merchandising strategy for your focus area while contributing to the team's overall adidas.com and app strategy.
  • Provide input and insight into the digital strategy and pre-planning process and adapt output to meet the needs of our local consumer and business.
  • Establish site playbooks and optimization flows for seasonal merchandise processes in your area, ensuring we can adapt to business needs and consumer moments.
  • Enhance sell-through by continuously improving our configurable toolset, with a focus on onsite search, sorting rules, filters, product placement, product badging, evergreen content, page content, third party vendors, and site configuration.
  • Collaborate with analytics to ensure framework for merchandising decisions and ongoing improvements can be tracked and validated on an ongoing basis.
  • Lead conversations with A/B testing, Personalization, and global teams to drive template/functional changes that are needed to support our site merchandise experience.
  • Work closely with Digital Activation, CRM, Buying, Site Ops, SEO/SEM, and Site Experience teams to ensure wider cross-channel campaigns are translating into tangible and impactful site experiences
  • Manage monthly digital visual merchandising calendar creation based on quarterly business priorities and ensure there are ongoing executive summaries giving visibility on plans and business output.
  • Ensure that our content strategy translates into a tangible output impacting consumers on both a category and a product level, directly with our brand team and/or our global creative teams.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILIITES

  • Strong understanding of eCommerce and emerging product trends
  • Working knowledge of eCommerce platforms, site merchandising practices, A/B testing and personalization
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret insights, identify opportunities, and support strategic decision-making
  • Effective communicator with excellent verbal and written skills, capable of influencing and collaborating across functions and levels
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, balancing day-to-day demands with long-term strategic objectives through strong time management and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail with strong ownership, accountability, and commitment to delivering high-quality execution
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to navigate complexity, adapt under pressure, and drive productive outcomes

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS



  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in eCommerce, Merchandising, or a related field preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or related discipline (master's degree a plus)
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered

At adidas we offer a Hybrid work policy which provides the flexibility to work remotely Fridays each week. For work requiring a high degree of collaboration, concentration or in-person presentation, in-office attendance is expected. The working location of this position is Portland.
