- Heart and Vascular Center featuring two fully digital catheterization labs and a pacemaker/defibrillation lab
- First hospital in the area to offer a 64-slice CT scanner
- First hospital to install a patient archiving communication system (PACS) to allow physicians to view all digital radiology reports via a web based program
- Newly renovated Emergency Department with electronic documentation to enhance the documentation of nurses and physicians
- Heartburn Treatment Center - only one in Northeast Alabama that offers Bravo, a catheter-free system for testing reflux
